Inspired by an idea that came to her in a dream, Karen went on to establish Sustainable Containables as a small, family-run business based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Karen is a health and wellness professional with a background in therapeutic and integrative care.

The brand is rooted in a commitment to wellness, with a focus on balance, healing, and restoration. Along the way, the family has navigated ongoing challenges related to complex health conditions, which led to a growing awareness of how common household and environmental toxins can affect physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

This awareness became a driving force behind Sustainable Containables' mission and inspired its guiding slogan: “Healthy Home, Healthy Earth, Healthy You!” Grounded in these insights, the company is dedicated to offering premium, plastic-free alternatives designed to support healthier living for individuals, homes, and the environment.
